Today I’m grateful for being introduced to Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire by our good friends, Andy and Katie. I know, it’s ridiculous that I’ve lived in Massachusetts most of my life, and never quite made it up there. I’ll just have to make up for lost time in the future.
Stayed in Meredith, NH, the first night, and turned what was supposed to be a brief trip into a full weekend because it was so beautiful and fun. Grateful for many things…
First night staying free with our friends, Andy and Katie.
Meeting friendly locals.
Access to a quiet, private beach which we took full advantage of. There’s no better exercise for me than swimming, and doing so in the clear waters of Lake Winnipesaukee might be the best version of exercise ever.
Crossing “skinny dipping” off my bucket list. :)
Finding one of the last available rooms at a place with an amazing view of the full moon over the lake and mountains.
Can’t wait to go back, again and again! I may just have become a lake girl after a lifetime of being an ocean girl….
