Today I’m grateful that:
- My house shook for five days with the happy play of my nephews: Christian, Sebastian, and Mateo, and their cousin Lauryn.
- The boys’ parents, Mandy and Sergio, made the trip up from D.C. to visit us. I know that’s no easy feat with three boys age five and under. I appreciate it beyond words!
- The weather, which had been crappy and stormy all last week, cleared up so that the normally land-locked family could enjoy the beach a bunch of times during their visit. Loved watching the boys play in the sand, and watch Lauryn brave the waves for a ridiculously long time!
They’ve been gone for only a few hours, and I miss them already…
