Today I’m grateful that:

  • My loyal reader Rachael and her husband Tom brought a healthy, and dare I say hefty 10 pound 3 ounce, baby boy into the world today. Welcome to Thomas Joseph! I bet big sisters Jane and Anna will get a kick out of him, and I can’t wait to meet him!
  • So many of Chad’s friends from his time working at the University of Maryland’s newspaper, The Diamondback, have welcomed me with open arms over the years and especially over the past week. They’ve made a very difficult time just a little bit easier.
