Today I’m grateful that:

  • My mother made it through surgery successfully. There were two possible outcomes. One would mean being quite uncomfortable for 2-3 months and then back in the hospital for another surgery. Luckily she will not be dealing with that outcome.
  • Good thing the spleen is mostly not important, because my mom no longer has one!
