Grateful Blog

Today I’m grateful that:

• Chad got me the John Adams HBO miniseries for Christmas, and being snowed in the last few days has allowed us to already finish the whole thing. Truly fascinating look at the birth of our country, the lasting relationship between John and Abigail Adams, and the long friendship between John and Thomas Jefferson. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!
• I grew up literally just down the street from where John and Abigail raised their family and lived their last days, and still live a short walk from there. I didn’t appreciate the history when I was growing up, but I certainly do now.
