The Most Non-Romantic Romantic Happy Anniversary Wish
If someone had told me when I got married eight years ago that marriage would be a fair amount of hard work, I would have said something like, Well, that sounds entirely unromantic!
But on the 8th anniversary of walking down the aisle to marry Chad, I understand more than ever how romantic that hard work is. There’s actually something extremely romantic and even sexy about a man who will stand by you through literally everything, even when lesser men would have walked away.
Marriage IS sometimes very hard work, but the result is infinitely better than any paycheck, any earned vacation time, any big bonus, any office award that you could possibly imagine.
These words are not cliche: I am luckier than ever, and understand better than ever, how lucky I am to be the wife of Chad Capellman. Cheers!
Our wedding song was Forever by Ben Harper. The lyrics spoke to us then, and even more so now. Listen, and read below.

Forever
Not talkin’ ‘bout a year No not three or four I don’t want that kind of forever In my life anymore Forever always seems to be around when it begins but forever never seems to be around when it ends So give me your forever Please your forever Not a day less will do From you People spend so much time Every single day Runnin’ ‘round all over town Givin’ their forever away But no not me I won’t let my forever roam and now I hope I can find my forever a home So give me your forever Please your forever Not a day less will do From you Like a handless clock with numbers An infinite of time No not the forever found Only in the mind Forever always seems to be around when things begin but forever never seems to be around when things end So give me your forever Please your forever Not a day less will do From you

Forever

Not talkin’ ‘bout a year
No not three or four
I don’t want that kind of forever
In my life anymore
Forever always seems
to be around when it begins
but forever never seems
to be around when it ends
So give me your forever
Please your forever
Not a day less will do
From you

People spend so much time
Every single day
Runnin’ ‘round all over town
Givin’ their forever away
But no not me
I won’t let my forever roam
and now I hope I can find
my forever a home
So give me your forever
Please your forever
Not a day less will do
From you

Like a handless clock with numbers
An infinite of time
No not the forever found
Only in the mind
Forever always seems
to be around when things begin
but forever never seems
to be around when things end
So give me your forever
Please your forever
Not a day less will do
From you
